Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from doodlebloom.store. Please read them before you order. If anything here is unclear, email doodleblooom@gmail.com and ask.

1. Who we are

Doodle Bloom is an independent business trading from Quebec, Canada, selling printable and paperback colouring books for children.

2. What you are buying

Most books are sold two ways:

  • Printable PDF. Two digital files, delivered immediately after purchase. Nothing ships.
  • Paperback. A physical book, printed to order and posted to you.

Page counts, age ranges and dimensions are stated on each product page. The illustrations are black line art on white, intended to be coloured in.

3. What you may do with the printable files

When you buy a printable book you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence. You may:

  • print the pages as many times as you like, for as long as you like;
  • print them for the children in your own household;
  • print them for the children in one classroom you teach - a single-classroom licence is included at no extra cost;
  • let the children colour, keep, display or give away the pages they have coloured.

4. What you may not do

  • Resell, share, email, upload or give away the PDF files themselves.
  • Sell the pages, coloured or blank, individually or as a book.
  • Include the artwork in any product, print-on-demand item or publication of your own.
  • Claim the artwork as your own, or remove or obscure our name from it.
  • Distribute the files across a school district, library system, commercial venue or online platform. A single-classroom licence covers one classroom. If you need more, ask us - we will usually say yes.

These restrictions are the whole basis on which a book can cost $4.99. Please respect them.

5. Delivery of printable files

Your download links appear on the confirmation page and in your order confirmation email, normally within a minute of payment. The links do not expire, so keep the email. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder and then contact us.

You need a device that can open a standard PDF and, to use the book as intended, a printer. We cannot refund a printable simply because you do not have a printer - the paperback exists for that.

6. Delivery of paperbacks

Paperbacks are printed to order, which takes around 3 to 5 business days, and then shipped. Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Import duties or taxes charged on arrival in your country are set by your government and are your responsibility.

7. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include no taxes unless stated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already placed. If a price or description is shown incorrectly, we will contact you before taking payment, or refund you in full if we only notice afterwards.

8. Refunds and cancellation

Set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we do not refund digital files for a change of mind, because they cannot be returned once downloaded, but we will always fix or refund a file that will not open or will not print properly. Damaged or misprinted paperbacks are reprinted or refunded.

If you are in the UK or the EU: your statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply to digital content once you have started downloading it. By completing your purchase and downloading, you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose that right. If you have not downloaded the files, you may still cancel within 14 days.

9. Ownership of the artwork

All artwork, layouts, titles, cover designs and product text remain the property of Doodle Bloom. Nothing you buy transfers ownership.

10. How the illustrations are made

The illustrations are created using AI image generation tools, then reviewed by hand, cleaned to pure black and white line art, and laid out for printing. We tell you this plainly so you can decide for yourself whether you want to buy.

11. Your account and your details

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under it. How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

12. Things we are not responsible for

We supply colouring books. We are not liable for how they are used, for the cost of your own paper or ink, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.

Colouring materials are not supplied by us. Please supervise young children, and use crayons and pens appropriate to their age.

13. Availability

We try to keep the site running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or withdraw books at any time. If we withdraw a book you have already bought, your download links continue to work.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable there. Nothing here removes any statutory consumer right you have where you live.
